DON'T
WASTE WASTE!
Waste can be a
valuable resource. One could argue that it is a
regenerative resource. Because despite our best efforts
to reduce, reuse and recycle, waste keeps arising.
Household waste, food waste, agricultural waste,
production waste, packaging waste, waste from
construction and demolition - it cannot always be
avoided.
But residues do not have to be a drag on the environment
and the economy! Biodegradable wastes can be treated in
anaerobic digesters to produce biogas for heat, power
and mobility. Solids, including municipal wastes not
suitable for materials recovery, and sewage sludge can
be used as a fuel that substitutes oil or coal. Waste is
a domestically available resource, it does not have to
be imported at great costs to the environment.
If waste cannot be avoided, we should make the best
possible use of it. EBW UK provides the number one forum
for information on how waste can be utilised to produce
clean energy.

The
No. 1 International Information Exchange
and Marketplace for Energy from Biomass and Waste
The EBW UK exhibition and conference has become the
leading gathering of buyers and vendors of leading-edge
waste and biomass treatment technology. Anaerobic
digestion, biomass and waste CHP, and advanced thermal
treatment are the major focus areas.
As an exhibitor, this is where you meet decision-makers
from the public and private sector who are looking for
means to divert waste from landfill in an economical and
environmentally friendly way.
As a delegate you see and hear the latest on treatment
options, technologies in action, market trends, legal and
financial issues.
